課程概述 |
1.本課程為「初級三」程度，適合修過此國際生華語「初級二」課程，或至少學過 250 小時（每週至少 6 小時）華語者選修。使用教材為《實用視聽華語二》，內容包含重要的生活詞彙與基礎中文語法。本課程旨在培養學習者聽說讀寫各方面的基本能力，並特別著重於聽說訓練，期望學習者在學完本課程後，能更準確而流利地以華語進行日常溝通。此外，盼能透過課堂上的師生互動與討論，使學習者了解華人與臺灣文化。
This course is for the student who has taken Elementary Ⅱ of the NTU General Chinese Language Course, or who has taken Chinese for at least 250 hours (6hrs/week). This course uses the textbook Practical Audio-Visual Chinese Ⅱ to develop students’ language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. By the end of this course, students should be able to communicate effectively with Chinese speakers on a variety of daily topics. Moreover, students will have a deeper understanding of Chinese language and culture.
2.本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
This course will be conducted mainly in Chinese with minimum English only when it is necessary.

課程目標 |
1.強化初級的聽說讀寫能力，並以提升聽說技巧為核心目標。
Develop the basic language skills, especially listening and speaking skills.
2.能正確並主動使用所學的生詞語法。
Be able to use targeted vocabulary and grammatical structures meaningfully and appropriately in oral and written production.
3.能讀懂課程範圍內的正體字，並能寫出至少五百字的短文表達個人想法。
Recognize traditional Chinese characters from the textbook and write a short essay of at least 500 characters to express opinions. |

課程要求 |
(1) 上課不可無故遲到或早退。遲到或早退超過二十分鐘，視同缺席一小時。
Attend the class on time. Arriving more than 20 minutes late or leaving 20 minutes early will be counted as a one-hour absence.
(2) 每次上課皆須攜帶課本、講義。
Bring all the materials you are supposed to use when you come to class.
(3) 上課應積極參與課堂討論，不應從事與課程無關的活動。
It is essential to participate in classroom activities and class discussion. You should not write homework or do other things unrelated to the course during class time.
(4) 上課請說中文，不說其他非中文語言。
Speak Chinese in class.
(5) 上課可以喝飲料，但不能吃東西。
Water and soft drink is allowed, but no food is allowed in class.
(6) 上課期間請將手機轉為震動或靜音模式。
Phones must be set on silent mode during class time. |

出席 Attendance |
15% |
(1)上課不可無故遲到或早退。遲到或早退超過二十分鐘，視同缺席一小時。
Attend the class on time. Arriving more than 20 minutes late or leaving 20 minutes early will be counted as a one-hour absence.
(2)若因故無法出席，應在上課以前寫E-mail向老師請假。
每學期至多可缺席六個小時（含遲到及早退），不扣分。超過六個小時，每小時扣出席成績1分。
Notify the instructor in advance if you are unable to attend class. Students are allowed a maximum of 6 hours excused absence (including late-coming and early-leaving). From the 7th hour on, one point will be deducted for each hour of absence.
(3)缺課的人，應在下次上課前詢問同學當天上課的內容，以及作業和小考的範圍。
If you miss a class, you should ask a classmate about what has been taught that day, what the assignment is and what is going to be covered on the dictation quiz. |

課堂表現及參與 Performance & Participation |
15% |
(1) 每次上課皆須攜帶課本、講義。

作業 Homework |
15% |
(1)應準時繳交作業，遲交該份作業成績扣10分，且應在一周內補交，超過規定時間視同未交。
All assignments must be handed in on time. 10 points will be deducted for late homework. Assignments not received within one week past the due date will receive a grade of zero.
(2)若請假，則應提前繳交作業或請同學代交，否則視同未交。
You should hand in your homework early (before the deadline) or ask a classmate to hand in your homework for you if you will be absent on the day it is due. |

平時測驗與小考 Quizzes |
15% |
(1) 每次上課（期中考及期末考除外）都有聽寫小考。課程開始就考試，遲到、請假或缺席者不補考。聽寫成績中，最差的五次分數將不予計算。
A dictation quiz will be given at the start of every class (except when taking the mid-term and final exams). No make-up quiz will be provided. The lowest 5 quiz scores will be dropped.
(2)每上完一課會安排一次複習考，內容為筆試（含聽力測驗）。
A review test will be given at the end of every lesson.
(3) 如有作弊行為，當次考試以零分計算。
Any student who is caught cheating will receive a grade of zero on the test.
(4) 每位學生最少須做一次口頭報告，報告分數作為一次平時測驗成績。
Each student will give at least one oral presentation over the semester. The presentation will be counted as a 100-point test. |

期中考 Midterm exam |
20% |
(1)包括筆試（含聽力測驗）及口試。
The exam consists of listening comprehension, a written test and an oral test.
(2)期中考將於指定日期舉行，不能補考。若因無法避免的因素無法參加考試，須提前告知老師並擇期補考，否則將以零分計算。
The midterm exam will be given only on the assigned days. There will be no make-up exam unless there are absolutely unavoidable circumstances such as serious illness, or a death in the family. If you are unable to attend the exam due to circumstances beyond your control, you must notify the teacher in advance and request an alternative exam time or date. |
